Storing mountboard between dividers under a workbench is standard practice for many framers.
Yet keeping those boards neat and tidy is a challenge, especially extracting smaller pieces which tend to get pushed to the back.
The Ultimo II is a stable and free rolling cart with three mountboard storage slots.
The rigid steel structure rolls under a workbench on four large wheels hidden inside the chassis. The board is kept upright by vertical dividers.
Ultimo II carries up to 160 standard size mountboards, 1200 x 815mm / 7539 48 x 32”.
You can also store foamboard and mounted prints in it. It is not designed to store heavy materials like glass.
Ultimo II rolls under any bench with 860mm / 34” or more clearance below. It is carefully packed and ready for self assembly.
Each of the mountboard slots is approx. 95mm wide, taking up to 60 1.4mm mountboards, around 160 boards
in total.

FOME-COR® BOARD
Fome-Cor® Board has been the leading paper-faced foam board for more than 40 years. The core is expanded polystyrene and unlike many other boards, this core is compressed to make it harder. For example, 3.5mm foamboard is made as 5mm compressed.
Lightweight, smooth and flat, laminated with clay-coated white paper on both faces. It does not have a memory.
Fome-Cor has a well-deserved reputation for performance. It
cuts easily and cleanly, by hand, or on a wall cutter or a mount cutter.
Well suited to many tasks in the framing workshop. Only despatched in full boxes.
