Sports Ball Clips
Cricket Bat Clips
One-piece acrylic clip to hold a cricket bat securely and discretely. Can hold a bat flat side out or wedge side out. Bolted through the backing board for strength. Bat is laid into the clip
toe first. To help ease the handle in, always use a strip of mylar or similar wrapped around the grippy rubber handle cover. 4.5mm acrylic.
Normal, for bats with toes up to 28mm approx. thick, which is most of them.
Extra, for bats with extra thick toes such as by Duncan Fearnley, up to 38mm approx.
Handle sizes vary. If it seems tight in the neck clip, don’t force it, as it might break. Use a block and fine sandpaper to smooth the inside edges of the clip. This opens up the gap and allows the handle to slide in. Supplied with all fixings and instructions.
See our Extra Deep rebate mouldings in the Lion Mouldings catalogue.

Acrylic Ball & Object Display Cases
Framing sports balls is very popular
Our range of acrylic cases are designed specially for the purpose. Making up your own base trims with picture moulding helps you to personalise them.
The football and rugby cases are quite large and very fragile. The prices shown for those include a £10 safe packing charge.
Internal dimensions of cases, L x W x H mm, are as shown. All are approximate.
The ball cases come complete with fabricated black acrylic bases and are ready to use.
See website for more detailed measurements.
The base trims shown are made from Lion mouldings. They are not included with the cases.

One piece of formed acrylic.
Countersunk bolt and washers.
Fixing Sports Ball Clips
PUB 035
Fit the ball into position. With one arm facing upwards, place the ball onto the two bottom arms (where you approximately want it to finally sit; i.e., the seam of a cricket ball), and holding the top arm, carefully flex this up to allow the ball to be ‘rolled’ into the position in the cradle of the three arms. The two bottom arms will also flex a little to ensure no big strain is placed on any one ‘arm’.
Care should be exercised to not scratch the ball.

Secure the clip to the backing board in the desired location. If fixing to hard board (masonite / mdf etc), use the countersunk bolts with the small flat washer 2mm app.

If fixing to foam core board or similar softer material, then the larger 25mm flat washer should also be used on the back to spread the load. Cut off excess tank bolt thread once the mount is securely attached.
