Ordering Mitred & Slotted Stretcher Bars
• Standard, Premium and Gallery bars: use the prefix and length, eg. P610. This will give you a pair, 2pcs, of Premium 610mm/24” bars, with 4 wooden wedges.
• Brace bars: use B or BB prefix and the metric length, eg. B914. This gives you a single B Brace bar, 1 pc, of 914mm / 36” brace bar, with 2 wooden wedges.
• XP Contract: use the XP prefix and the metric length, eg. XP508. This gives you a box of 24pcs, 12 pairs, of Pro Bar 508mm / 20” bars, with 24 wooden wedges.

• Mitred and slotted bars are available in five profiles and in lengths from 203mm to 2000mm. Supplied 3mm shorter than stated size to allow re-tensioning. Wooden wedges supplied with every pair are tapped into corner slots to allow re-tensioning of canvas. See the current Lion Trade Catalogue.
Gallery Bar
•The edges are precision machined to a 2.25mm radius to give a crisp edge with minimal risk of cracking the ink film. Careful machining of the slots means the bars go together neatly and lie flat against the wall.

• Stretcher profile in full lengths can be added to normal moulding orders to meet our minimum despatch value of £50.
• Length ordered on Chop Service or cut on your mitre guillotine / saw is to be joined using your underpinner.
Ordering Stretcher Profile on our Chop Service
• To order on Chop Service, add a ‘C’ prefix to the part number i.e. L1619 becomes CL1619. Chop Service measurement is to the outside dimensions of the joined frame with no cutting tolerance.
• Chop Service orders can be included in our standard minimum order value of £50. The easiest way to place Chop Service orders is through our website.
