Choose the right frame glue
Gluing the corners of a frame gives extra strength to join on top of the mechanical strength of the v-nail.
PVA glue is water based and ideal for joining wood frames but you only need to apply it sparingly. Mekol has a precise applicator tip, or try the BabeBot - this easy-squeeze glue bottle features a unique two-chamber design that sucks the glue back when squeeze is released; the glue level remains high at the tip even when the bottle is running low.
Cyanoacrylate Adhesive, otherwise known as superglue is good for joining wood and in particular polymer mouldings. The activator is sprayed on one surface and the adhesive on the other. The bond cures in ten seconds, useful in production environments.
