Z Bar Hanger Cleat Strips
Interlocking aluminium cleat or ‘Z’ bar profiles. One is screwed to the frame or panel and the other to the wall. They provide a stable and level means of hanging pictures, mirrors, displays and speakers. Often used by trade installers. Holes are oval to allow for levelling.
To fix to wall: Use screws up to 4.5mm / No.6 or 8 dia and length to suit wall material to fix cleat strips. To fix to frame etc: Use 4.5mm / No.6 dia screws to fix the cleat strips to the back of the frame moulding.
Consider also using two pairs on a frame, one each at top and bottom. This prevents the frame being pulled away at the bottom.

To hang a larger item use several Z Bar strips in a row to help spread the load.
For security, fit a T-Screw or a SpringLOCK at the base of the frame.
