LADDER Spring Clip
A special design of clip to hold a stretched canvas into a frame. Allows stretched canvas to float.
Carefully shaped out of spring steel, bright nickel plated. It lies flat against the back of the picture, minimising marking of the wall.
Held firmly with a small countersunk screw which allows it to be turned easily.
58mm long, 15mm wide. 3mm hole.

Tap one end into the rebate of the moulding.
Do this with 4 - 6 clips, bend them back, drop in
the canvas, fold forward and tap into the stretcher bar. Semi-spring steel, with a coppered finish.
Canvas Offset Clips
‘S’ shaped steel clips with screw hole in one end and sometimes in the other, as indicated.
For use when fitting stretched canvas into a frame with a shallow rebate. Also useful for shadow box framing and for assembling L-style frames. Many framers have found that they work well the other way round, to hold the sandwich in a frame when it is less thick than the rebate. ZP.
