Back of board
First, set the anvil into a shallow hole in a piece of chipboard or similar.
Next, punch the hole and insert top part of rivet through D-Ring and board. Push bottom part up into rivet. Position board over anvil disc. Set using a hammer and the setting tool.
The domed head looks attractive with the D-ring, and the tubular bottom part leaves a smooth finish on the back of the board.
