How do Picture Hook Wall Plates work?
These unique plates have been developed to help hang framed art, a mirror or similar, on a wall with an integral surface such as tiles, glass, mirror, marble & metal.
No drilling required and they have a proven instant grab, high-strength adhesive. This can be removed with lighter fluid. Picture Hook Wall Plates are not suitable for surfaces such as paint on plaster.
Picture Hook Wall Plate XXL
Always use these plates in pairs. They are perfectly flat and self-adhesive to bond to the wall and engage with CWH Hangers fitted to a frame.
L Hook Wall Plates take 1.7kg each. XXL Hook Wall Plates take 7.2kg each. Always use the plates on a firm surface, not on paper, board or paint.
The frame weight should not exceed the safe loading of one hook plate.
At the base of the frame, Velcro pads can be fixed between the wall and the frame to stabilise it. These also act a modest theft deterrent.
