The strongest hot adhesive film in the SeaLion range. It is ideal for demanding mounting tasks, such as canvas bonding of ‘stripped’ photos. Use also to mount to aluminium sheet and Dibond.
• 50o clear PVC film with 24gsm coating of heat activated acrylic adhesive on both faces. Faces protected with release paper.
• Sometimes known as ‘5 layer’ mounting film.
• To use, the release liner is peeled back from one
face, exposing a low initial tack adhesive which
allows positioning of the print or stripped photo.
• For mounting to canvas, use a foam blanket to press image into the texture. Supplied un-pierced.

Conservation grade heat activated soft polymer mounting film. Thin, soft and flexible
For mounting onto dark backgrounds, newsprint, fabrics and many other applications.
Generally, it can be used in most applications where tissue is used. It should be applied at 78oC - 81oC for 2.5 to 4 minutes.
SeaLion Acid-Free Mount Film is very thin, enabling it to be used with thinner fabrics, conforms to uneven surfaces and can be overlapped quite effectively. Often heat reversible at about 88oC.
Dry mount tissue
Superbond Premium out-performs most other heat activated dry mounting tissue. This is thanks to a unique adhesive formulation combined with high-quality manufacturing and process control.
The heat-activated adhesive is carefully formulated with polymers and additives to provide a well- defined and controlled operating window in terms of melt and re-set temperatures. This allows the user to obtain reliable repeat performance on a wide range of substrates.
• The melt-flow characteristics are designed to grab and hold materials during the bonding process. The strength of the final bond is exceptional.

PRO DMT is a heat activated mounting tissue.
Tissue base is breathable and generally heat reversible. The adhesive is applied using a hot melt coating process. No solvents are used.
PRO DMT should be used at or below 84oC and kept under pressure for no more than 3 mins with porous surfaces or 4 mins for non-porous surfaces. If the adhesive gets too hot for too long, some can penetrate away from the faces.
Ideal for bonding mountboard, prints, white liner board, foam board, etc. Some find it satisfactory with MDF, so remove any dust & test.

With some DMT’s, an adverse reaction can start to show up within a few months. This can turn the inkjet coated papers yellow. With RagMount®, that does not happen. It is also fine for all normal mounting of art on paper - test any resin coated photos first.
