1478 PTFE Joint Sealing Tape white 12mm x 12m roll
Prior to screwing air-line fittings together, it is vital to ensure a good air seal by wrapping this PTFE white tape around the thread.
It is technically called Polytetrafluoroethylene, but commonly known as PTFE tape. It is the best way to create an airtight seal on thread joints. Wrap it about three times round the male thread and pull away. Leaking joints waste compressed air.
