Sovereign Gold paste wax is ideal for touching-up frames

Use it to fill corners or repair scratches by taking a little on the end of a finger and wiping it onto the moulding. It has a multitude of other uses including the restoration of antiques, gilding picture frames, applying highlights to painted frames; stencilling, decoration and finishing frames.

Can also be used as a gilding medium in its own right, but it helps if you prepare a toning, or contrasting, under-surface surface first, using suitable coloured paint.

Daler Goldfinger Wax Paste is easy to use, simply apply with a soft cloth or finger, after a short time buff the wax for a fine finish. Produces a very professional finish with no signs of metallic particles or smears. Takes best on porous or slightly abraded surfaces.
