Picture Framing Tape

Self Adhesive Framers Tape for sealing picture frames and adhering artwork to frame mounts. Picture framing tape is also used to finish the back of the frame to give an attractive professional product. The ideal frame sealing tape is self adhesive and flexible. It is important that it is malleable so the tape can conform around the frame and backing board. We also stock gummed brown backing tape which needs to be wetted before application.

Picture frame backing tapes have good adhesion and are used primarily to seal the back of a picture frame from dust, mites and other environmental matter. These tapes also make the finish at the back of the picture frame look professional and are available in a variety of different thickness and widths. The LION ECO15 tape is available in 25mm, 38mm, 50mm and 75mm widths, it is quite a flexible brown tape which is ideal for shaping into corners and rebate of the back of the frame. The thicker and stronger ECO25 range of tapes are available in 38mm and 50mm widths and are thicker than the ECO 15 range, but not quite as flexible. We also stock gummed brown backing tape. All brown frame backing tapes create robust and presentable frame backing and sealing options.
