ABSORENE Paper & Book Cleaner
Absorene is the original dry cleaner that works like an eraser by drawing dust
and dirt from
surfaces.
Scoop a lump from the tub and work
until soft and pliable. Clean surface with
a rolling or sliding motion. Helps remove cigarette smoke film and smell. Made in USA without any nasty chemicals!
It absorbs the ‘debris’ onto its surface, so keep on turning and kneading the lump.
Used by museum curators, archival restoration experts, and libraries to clean old manuscripts, prints, oil paintings, books, papers and tapestries. Also used to clean ceiling tiles, fireplace bricks, wallpaper and windows. Good for parchment-type lampshades.
It is water based, so if it dries out in the tub, splash some clean water on the surface, replace the lid and leave overnight.
Lighter Fluid
Essential for cleaning greasy marks off almost anything.
Gets marks off mounts, prints, photos etc. Cleans the gunge which builds up on machines. Use with clean tissue for best results. Flood it on and it dries in seconds.
Naptha based, so flammable - store and use with care.
Document Cleaning Pad
Stockinette bag, filled with finely milled conservation grade rubber powder.

Akapad Standard, Yellow, is ideal for safe, dry cleaning of paper, card, frames, etc. To use, press and rub firmly onto the surface until soiled crumbs are formed. This should always be stored closed in its original carton. Pads are 90 x 67 x 43mm
